Unfortunately this is not an error that we can assist with, the ink pads need replacing but more importantly the waste counter needs to be reset and you need specific software for this. There are some procedures online that claim to work but a lot of them don’t, there are also downloads available which claim to reset the counter but you must proceed with extreme caution if you are attempting to download something online.
My best advice would be to contact a Canon Authorised Repairer, they would have the necessary parts and software required to solve this problem. As with Epson it is likely to be a premium cost repair so whether it is worth it or not I cannot say, call Canon on this number and go from there: 020 7660 0186.
